The article presents the contributions of Educational Informatics to support the learning of the addition operation, through experience in the application of TuxMath Educational Software for three classes of the 4th year of elementary school in a public school in Belém do Pará. TuxMath to be dynamic and fun, it attracts the attention of students while handling the educational tool, learn through play. Thus, oriented the right way, the Educational Informatics contributes to success in school. The results of research by applying a questionnaire for students, have recognized that the TuxMath obtained positive results both acceptance of the game as learning
